Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 4 or 5 large carrots, cut on the bias, 1/4" thick
- 2 Tbsp salted butter
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 Tbsp Chopped fresh parsley and dill
Directions
- Cut carrots on a mandolie 1/4" thick.
- Place carrots, butter, chicken stock and maple syrup in a skillet on medium high heat and bring to a boil.
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove the cover and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated, another 5 minutes or so.
- Toss to glaze carrots, add chopped herbs, toss and serve.
