Meatballs
Ingredients
- 11 Saltines -> Smash
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 oz parmesan
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Crush saltines and let sit in milk for 5 minutes until saltines soften.
- Add everything else and mix, combine into 12 1/4 cup meatballs.
- Place in fridge - can hold for up to 48 hours.
Sauce
Ingredients
- 5 cloves of garlic smashed
- 1/8 cup of EVOO
- 28 oz can crushed tomates
- 1/2 tsp of salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Add garlic and EVOO to cold pot - over low heat cook for 10 minutes until garlic is golden brown.
- Add pepper flakes and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add rest of ingredients, nestle meatballs in, bring to simmer and put in oven for 40 minutes.
- Leave meatballs uncovered to cool while making pasta
Pasta
Ingredients
- 4 quarts of salted water
- 1 tbs salt
- 1 pound of spaghetti
Directions
- Cook pasta for 8 minutes until al dente
- Moisten pasta with some sauce
- 3 tbs chopped basil to sauce
