Coconut Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 400 mL can of coconut milk
  • 1 1/4 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of jasmine rice

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, water, sugar, and salt.
  2. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Stir in rice.
  4. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  5. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes until rice is tender.
