Chili Sauce
Ingredients
- 10 lbs Ripe Tomatoes
- 6 large stalks of celery
- 4 large oninons
- 1 large green pepper
Brine
- 2 c white vinegar
- 4 c white sugar
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp mustard seed
Directions
- Skin tomatoes and cut in large pieces.
- Chop rest of veggies finely.
- Combine and sprinkle with 1/2 cup of salt, let sit overnight.
- Drain well in the morning and add brine to the ingredients.
- Bring to a rolling boil for 15 minutes.
- Bottle.
